ARQUITECTUM, a firm for the organization of architectural contests, is pleased to welcome architects from the world over to the “MIRAFLORES: Lofts & Shops” International Architecture Competition. The initiative by ESPARQ, a development firm interested in conducting architectural contests on a worldwide level, is to create a new type of building type combining luxury retail with high-end residences in a single project called “MIRAFLORES: LOFTS & SHOPS”, to be located in one of Lima’s most attractive avenues, Santa Cruz Avenue, in an area with the greatest potential to become an “in” district, following similar urban patterns from other cities such as Buenos Aires, Santiago or Mexico. Keeping this in mind, the new building must provide not just architectural excellence but make show of fashion, glamour and an exquisite interior design, day and night. Partecipation opening for architects from all over the world who have satisfactorily concluded their studies and count with a degree to certify them as such, as well as any team or office of professionals with at least one architect of said characteristics (in the instance that the person wishing to participate had a university degree –an MS in Architecture, for example— and worked in an office as a professional designer but was not a registered architect).
